Cai recieved his plane ticket and was ready to leave. He was waiting patiently for one of 2 things,Emmy and/or Snails to stop him,or the Tennant to call for his flight to London.

"...Cai...?" Snails said softly, walking up from behind him and placing her small hand on her shoulder. "I'm... I'm sorry..." She had thought of more to say in the car ride over here, but once she actually saw him, all that she had planned left her.

Cai grabbed her hand and kissed it gently as he took the ticket and ripped it up. "I'm not leaving now,nor will I ever"

Snails stared at Mordecai in wonder. "I don't understand... Why?" She asked, scrunching her eyebrows up cutely, like she did sometimes. "... Who do you love? Me or Emmy?" She finally asked, the question she had been always wondering.

"It's a very interesting question you ask...but strangely enough. I do believe I love you Snails. You've always been there for me,from the day I came into town." Mordecai began to do something no one has seen,not even Snails...he began to cry.

"That's... Crazy..." Snails said, looking down on the floor. Should she tell him that she was dying? Should she tell him about Sen? Tears were beginning to whell up in her eyes, too. "I don't know what you want me to say..."

Cai had a feeling she was keeping a secret from him,but he didn't want to force it out of her. "Just tell me when you have to leave me... Tell me when and if you're dying Snails or even if you love another guy over me. You're my bestfriend,I think we can tell each other anything." Cai pulled Snails' hand and sat down with her right next to him.

Snails wrapped her arms around Mordecai, crying softly on his shoulder. "I'm sorry..." Was all she could get out for the first few minutes of crying. Finally, she calmed down and looked up at him. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you..."

"Didn't tell me what?" Cai's tears were flowing,but he was also very confussed,which tended to happen often lately.

Cai laughed slightly as well and wiped her tears away. "Snails...nothing is gonna make me think badly of you." He then looked down and his tears dropped even harder now. "I'm scared though...that you'll leave and never come back dude..."

Snails sighed and tried to look into Mordecai's eyes, but she kept on having to turn away. She wasn't sure what to say again. "If it makes it any better, I'm scared, too..." She finally said after a few moments of silence.

Mordecai,after looking down for a long period of time,looked up and took Snails into his arms. All Cai could think of doing was just to hug her,he didn't know how to make her happy or smile or anything,so he just began to tickle her.

"Eek!" Snails screamed. Snails was extreamly tickle-ish. "Cai... People are staring at us..." She said quietly, trying really hard to get out of his hold. "Whoops!" She said as she fell backwards, Mordecai on top of her.

"Well we're in an...akward...predicament. But ya know,let people stare. Just shows them we have something they want but'll never have,a great friend...even though I'm in..."Cai stopped himself from continuing on. He almost forgot Snails loved Sen and that Snails and him were just close buddies.
